Field Day is one of the best attended club events held annually. Club members have a good time making eyeball QSO’s and experimenting with antennas. This national event is always held the 4th weekend in June. The club operates using the club call WØIN.
2023 Field Day, is operating from Camp Childress Boy Scout Camp at 12255 State Hwy V, near Diamond, MO. There are buildings with bathrooms and showers available. From I-49 exit at the Hwy “V” interchange, Turn east, then take the first road south at the sign clearly marked SCOUTCAMP . Follow the road through the gates and past the buildings. The club will have the trailer set up near the top of the hill.
If you want to help set up, be there early Saturday morning. Come later in the day or overnight to operate. We need operators, as we have a challenge with the Bella Vista Radio Club!
