The JARC will be participating in the Route 66 On the Air special event again this year, as W6N. The event runs from Friday, Sept 11 starting at 7p CDT to Sunday, Sept 20 at 7p CDT. We encourage club stations to operate on SSB, CW, and Digital modes on the following bands: 80, 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, 12, 10, and 6M.

Jim Johannes will be coordinating the event and a sign-up has been created here: www.SignUpGenius.com/go/10C0F45ACAE28AAF49-rt66ota. Please put your Name and Callsign in the Name field, and indicate which mode you plan on working. There is only one slot created per band per day – you are not expected to work the entire day, coordinate with Jim on when you will be on the air.

If you decide to work as W6N please text Jim when you do – his number can be found in the club roster which is sent via email monthly, or located on the club members page.
